10 Lessons from Albert Einstein

to break a bit from boring trading topics :-)  ....
1. Follow Your Curiosity “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
2. Perseverance is Priceless “It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
3. Focus on the Present “Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
4. The Imagination is Powerful “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
5. Make Mistakes “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
6. Live in the Moment “I never think of the future – it comes soon enough.”
7. Create Value “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
8. Don’t be repetitive “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
9. Knowledge Comes From Experience “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.”
10. Learn the Rules and Then Play Better “You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”

June 18-22

Hi traders,

not much productive week from my side. I've had one trade went + 50 and ended up on BE (short USD/CHF in the beginning of the week). Have been busy at work and haven't traded much, but now when market settled down a bit after FOMC and Greek elections I've entered, EUR/USD short, GBP/AUD long and USD/CAD long. Hope you had a better week.

I've been hanging out with my friend and we've been commenting how trading bloggers community totally died. I'm reading many blogs and there's really nothing much going on lately. It's kind of sad for me to see.

Enjoy your weekend and take care!

June trades recapitulation

Last week trades I've exited with +200 pips on NZD/USD and +120 pips on NZD/CAD.

Entered EUR/GBP short, was +50 pips and exit on -30 as it reversed.

Gold would be a good trade but I haven't catched it manually and haven't put in the order.

Currently having AUD/CAD with floating P/L of + 30 pips, GBP/JPY with -85, and GBP/CAD with currently at break even.

Good luck with trading!

EUR/AUD bullish gartley

Small risk, good possible reward.

Readers by countries

First two countries my readers come from! Thank you for reading me!

I've never been to GB or USA, and would like to visit both countries pretty much! :-)

AUD/JPY bullish butterfly

Rejection from the low on the lower band and possible bullish butterfly?

Trying to scale in small long positions.

Support on EUR/JPY

I'm seeing a tiny support, and with low volume market today, will try with small long position there.

Happy May Day :-)

Short term trades on long term charts

Hi my faithful readers :-)

I hope you have started your week with positive balance on the account.

Last week have been closed on break even, with positive AUD/USD trade and negative GBP/USD.

As there is no clear picture regarding support / resistance and the pairs are somewhere in the middle, I've used this situation, along with my vacation days, to trade more shorter term trades, on longer term charts. I will give you an overview of how it went.

AUD/USD buying into support

There is pretty strong support level @ 1,0250. I set up an order and was executed, entered into long position again @ 1,0250 same as previous week.

GBP/USD selling on resistance area

Hope you started your trading week good. For the first trade, I'll start shorting the cable. There is a resistance area on weekly, as well as over extension in the short term up momentum. Stop is 60 pips above high's and take profit somewhere down, along the way.

Weekly overview: EUR/CAD took advantage on daily support

After I haven't entered EUR/USD as my buy order was @ 1,2990 and the market went to 1,2995 lowest point, I was a bit frustrated.

And after that, EUR/JPY long trade I moved too quickly on BE (when I was + 50), then with a sharp move down stopped me out and surged up like mad. Totally insane.

I was correct about aussie going down, stopped there on the very high. 1,0410. Also insane.

Finally, one positive trade to close the week, EUR/CAD sitting on long term support, with hammer candle pattern, it was a clear indication to go long.

Wish you all a good weekend! Enjoy!

USD/CAD selling above parity

With the help of my friend,  I've realized one good trade on this USD/CAD, selling above parity and got out + 90.

AUD/USD I was short but got stopped out, on the latest high, with - 50. Still think it's a short, but won't chase the market there.

closed kiwi - think risk "on" is taking over

Closed NZD/USD with + 60 pips, and missed an entry on EUR/USD by 5-6 pips (long @ 1,2990) - market haven't catched my order...

NZD/USD short and AUDJPY closed

NZD/USD result: + 180 pips.

AUDJPY closed short + 195 pips.

Nothing's changed within the big picture, just thought of taking some profit off the table, going again short on retracement, regarding audjpy. For nzdusd, we'll see.

AUD/JPY short idea

Market is coming close to the short term up channel line and horizontal resistance line. It's also 61,8 % of the total high - low (2007-2009).

Not quite sure, but also seeing bearish gartley on daily chart? High correlation with S&P, so drop in there will trigger a short selling here for sure, how likely is that to happen now?

Add your comments if you have any ideas.

Bearish butterfly NZDUSD - update

Looks like it's going down. Do I even have to mention that he stopped me out on that last spike?

Bearish butterfly NZDUSD

Hi boys and girls,

I hope you're doing good. I'm not changing my charts again, just simplifying things. I'm looking at key levels on daily and weekly charts that when touched could be important.

There's NZD/USD where I've marked most recent levels that have been hit multiple times. I'm not much into harmonics, but I've noticed this bearish butterfly, with fibb analysis it should be textbook example, correct me if I'm wrong.

Trade well and stay healthy

best regards,
